We're back home now. Yes, we're "comfortably" back in the lap of 1st world luxury. The trip to Nepal and Bhutan was yet another privileged chance to meet new people, experience new cultures, and see yet another corner of this planet.
After getting home from a trip there is often much thought of past travels and experiences. Today my thoughts go back to all of the children we have crossed paths with... the smiles, the wonder, the curiosity, and sometimes that subtle glint of pain in their eyes.
I wonder where they are today. I wonder if they went to school this morning. I wonder if they have enough food to eat. I wonder if they have shoes on their feet. I wonder...
